Renthal Fatbar
Tvornički dizajnirani ø28,6 mm Renthal aluminijski Fatbar, popularni rezervni dio, sada je standardna značajka.
Mala težina i lagano, spretno rukovanje
Dopunjavajući snažni motor, lagano, okretno rukovanje doprinosi brzom krugu vožnje KX450. Iako dodavanje električnog pokretanja i povratka na vilicu s spiralnom oprugom dodaje težinu, nastojalo se prirast težine svesti na minimum. Rezultat je dosad najniža šasija KX450 i visoko konkurentna, mala ukupna težina od samo 110,0 kg.
Hidraulično kvačilo
Kawasakijeva prva hidraulična spojka na motokroseru nudi izravniji osjećaj i lakšu akciju ručice.
Električni pokretač
Mogućnost brzog ponovnog pokretanja motora nakon izlijevanja može značiti razliku između zadržavanja prednosti ili potrebe za povratkom kroz paket.
KX FI kalibracijski komplet (pribor)
KX FI Calibration Controller, a portable handheld calibration tool, enables riders to make changes to engine maps by plugging into the ECU without needing a PC or battery. Comes equipped with seven preset map settings.
Jednostavno podešavanje motora: DFI podešavanje odabira podataka
Koristeći isporučene DFI spojnice, vozači mogu brzo i jednostavno pristupiti svom izboru od tri karte (standardne, tvrde, meke) koje se nalaze u ECU-u.
